Washington Park, State Education building, downtown Albany, New York, professional portrait session
Some people make a portrait session easy, and Trent definitely brought ease and poise to his!

I had the chance to work with Trent, my former Manager from my Employee Relations job with the state, for a professional portrait session in downtown Albany.
We planned three different looks to give him a variety of images: a classic jacket, a vest, and a more casual shirt-and-pants look.
We visited two locations, Washington Park and the New York State Education Building, to create a mix of outdoor portraits with different backdrops and vibes. Along the way, we captured plenty of great smiles, some fun reactions, and a few truly iconic shots that really stood out.
I love sessions like this because professional portraits don't have to feel stiff or overly formal. A little variety, a great location, and letting someone's personality come through can make all the difference.
Here are a few favorites from Trent's session!
